Craft workshop (a.m): glass painting on clear perspex
April 20 @ 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM
420000VND
We run a number of art workshops with 2 young artists Linh and Nhung, who graduated from the Fine Arts University 2-3 years ago. They are often creating new workshops that we love to try out.
This is a repeat workshop – glass painting on a clear perspex panel – that we did in January for Tết.
We start off with a powerpoint presentation about the Nghe (an imaginary Vietnamese spiritual/sacred animal) which is the image we will paint – Linh and Nhung explain first about cultural and artistic significance so you that you understand more about what you will be painting.
Using pre-drawn stencils we draw directly onto the perspex using gold outliner and then we paint with glass paint. Support provided by Linh and Nhung. Doesn’t matter what your level is (please note the glass paint may have a strong smell so feel free to wear a mask if you wish).
Numbers: min 5 and very max 10 people (for children above 10 years old)
Amount pp: VND 420,000 – same price for everyone (as we need to over material costs and donation to the artists and includes refreshments. A little higher than our other workshops to cover the required material costs)
Venue: Linh and Nhung’s workshop in ngo Nui Truc (not far from the VNOB) near Kim Ma – full address will be sent to those confirmed on the workshop
RSVP: to stella@fvheritage.org
Suitable for all levels.
Allow 2.5hrs to 3 hours.
