WILD PERSPECTIVES: A wildlife photography
Introduction
Please join us for an evening of wildlife photography from around Southeast Asia and Indochina presented by our lovely friend Brooke Rockentine. Photographs feature animals both in captivity and in their natural habitats in the wild that paint a picture of wildlife in Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Brooke will give a small presentation about a few special pieces. She is one of our fabFVH friends, and is an entomologist carrying out research in SE Asia relating to her field of work and wildlife in general.
Through her many field trips she has caputured some stunning images. She has decided to get a lot of them framed and is inviting FVH and the community to a lovely evening to learn more about the wildlife she has expertly captured on camera.
Format
The evening is for friends in the community, held at her home in Tây Hồ . Starting at 6pm, the social evening is over a few hours and people can come and go, although we hope to have a little opening ceremony maybe about 6.30pm. Brooke will give an introduction to her work and share stories in detail of a few of her favourite photos. On display are 20-30 gorgeous images.
This is also a social event; a chance to meet old friends, make new ones, browse the exhibition plus a great opportunity to dress up. So we would love people to come wearing ao dai, national dress, smart attire.
Notes
Option to buy some of her Brooke’s work if you wish. Light refreshments provided but everyone is warmly welcome to bring a bottle with them (alcoholic or non-alcoholic).
