Craft workshop – dó paper & painting with nature

Dó paper and the colours of nature as summer comes
A double bill as this an art and craft workshop where we paint on a dó paper notebook cover and keep the notebook too. The note book is pre-made – the paper is regular but the cover is made from dó.
This workshop uses natural materials and colours for painting focused on the earth and rich earthy colours: browny earth/soil, red soil of Hoa Binh and indigo – these are the media and colours we use in our paintings.
Either come with your own idea for an image to paint or the artists will give guidance and suggestions/templates.
This workshop is a combined one with Hong Ky who runs our dó paper workshops and Hien the artist who came up with the idea of painting with indigo and ‘soil’.
The workshop includes all materials – instruction, notebooks and paint.

Venue: Cham do workshop, 25 Chau Long
Amount: 450,000 VND per person (same price for everyone). This is more than our usual workshops as it includes a notebook each and instruction from 2 artists and more materials.
Spaces: Min 5 max 10 people
