City Walk (English): Tour of the Vietnamese National History Museum
June 16, 2018 @ 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM
100,000VNDVietnamese History Exploration @ the Vietnam Museum of History
The museum building used to be an archaeological research institution of the French School of the Far East in 1910. It was refurbished in 1920 and subsequently redesigned during 1926-1932 by Ernest Hebrard. The museum showcases the period from Vietnam’s prehistory to the August 1945 revolution.
In this tour, we will discover how thousands of years of civilization and remarkable events have shaped the Vietnamese country and the lives of the Vietnamese people. Along the way, we will see the rich collections of over 200,000 unique cultural treasures, including ancient archaeological finds of great beauty and importance, and powerfully evocative historic heritage relating to Vietnamese dynasties.
Then we will take a short break in the Museum Creative Room where we experience some types of Vietnamese traditional Art.
After that, we will take a look around the outdoor exhibition.
