A relaxing creative Sunday morning making some small dó paper notebooks.
We partner with Hong Ky who helps support the paper-making communities in Hoa Binh creating job opportunities and stable incomes for the paper making ethnic minority families in the province .
This type of paper first appeared in the 18th century in Vietnam and has been used widely in Vietnamese folk art, especially in Dong Ho paintings.

- Introduction to the tools and materials used for booking making and the different ways to bind the books
- We make our own notebooks
- Feel free to bring you own decorate items to beautify your creations

Duration: appx 2 hours
venue: Vui Studio cafe on Tống Duy Tân, not far from ‘train street;’ off Hang Bong
Max participants: 10 spaces (min 5 needed for the workshop to take place)
