Venue and why
This time the location is just out of Hanoi in Bat Trang. The Pottery Streets Treasure Hunt is an exploration of the village with a difference.
Its easy to get to the village by bus, grab/taxis/motorbike taking about 35-45 mins traffic depending
- To introduce Bat Trang in a different way
- To get people to really take notice of the village
- To be the start of a series of events we want to arrange in Bat Trang next year with the locals
The management board have approved our plans and given their blessing; some of the board’s members will attend the prize giving

The idea
Compete in teams. Complete a mixture of challenges within a set time limit. Make your way round Bat Trang village by either finding and buying products (each team will be given a float). The first part is solving riddles and clues, carrying out tasks, within the village.
For the 2nd section which is purchasing, the aim is to find all the items and spend as little as possible – these will be the treasure in our free raffle.
Teams must arrive at the final meeting point to report to the event judges and for prize giving by the deadline time.
Prizes awarded to teams include:
- the quickest
- with the highest score
- who spent the least money
etc and other categories
