Hanoi City Walk (English) – a Winter Walk from St Joseph’s to the old quarter
January 7 @ 8:00 AM - 10:30 AM
150,000VNDThis is a new leisurely walk to kick start 2024 – combining some areas featured on other walks, adding new ones and sharing new stories. Designed and led by some members of our enthusiastic media team.
We start outside St Joseph’s Cathedral, winding our way past Hoan Kiem Lake, up to some of the old quarter alleys, ending at 22 Hàng Buồm.
We sometimes add something different to our city walks and this time we stop for a snack at a local bánh trôi tàu stall (a delicacy made from glutinous rice flour, green bean/black sesame seeds, cooked in hot ginger water)
Max 8 people. We will have a waiting list when/if the walk becomes full.
150,000 VND includes the usual FVH city walk donation + a little gift.
We meet at St. Joseph’s Cathedral and end at 22 Hàng Buồm. Please note the earlier start time for this walk at 8am.
Please RSVP to nguyenductung712@gmail.com and include your mobile number
NB If you plan to come by your own motorbike re parking the start and end points are not near each other. Remember the roads around Hoan Kiem Lake are closed for weekend walking streets.
