Excursion – Ninh Binh Province. Bear Sanctuary Cuc Phuong national park – FULL

This is a 2-part one day excursion. The morning we spend with the bears and the aftrnoon we have 2 fun workshops so a fun packed day.

This is our first visit to the Four Paws bear sanctuary in Ninh Binh. The wonderful center is situated on Cuc Phuong National Park’s expansive site. It provides a new home for bears that have been rescued from terrible conditions. With access to indoor and outdoor enclosures, the bears can finally behave naturally again, after having spent years in dark and tiny cages. They can choose to swim in the wading pools, climb on the high platforms specifically constructed for their needs, soak up the sun, play with other bears, forage for food or hide in their dens when they want to relax. FVH is pleased to connect people to get to know and support the bear at Four Paws.

Outline plan for the day 
7:30 AM: Meeting point at Pan Pacific Yen Phu side (THERE IS NO PARKING FOR CARS OR MOTORBIKES AT THE HOTEL OR NEARBY SO PLEASE COME BY TAXI, PUBLIC TRANSPORT OR GRAB)
7:45 AM: Depart Hanoi
9:30-10:00 AM: Arriving at Four Paws Bear Sanctuary.
10:00-11:10 AM: Welcoming and Introduction. Then, we spend time observing the bears with the Four Paws guide.
11:10-11:40 AM: Free time for visitors visit on skywalk where the first bear exhibition in Vietnam, sanctuary overview, taking photos, etc.
11:40-1:15 PM: lunch (either bring a picnic lunch or have lunch in a vegetarian restaurant inside the sanctuary)
1:30-2:15 PM: Workshop 1: Do lam giau cho gau (Let’s make enrichments for the bears)
2:15-3:00 PM: Workshop 2: Nham mat nhin thay gau (Freestyle painting)
3:00-3:30 PM: Group photos before leaving
3:30pm appx Leaving Ninh Binh, arriving back inHanoi around 6pm/6.30pm

Please also have a look at the Vietnam Bear Rescue Centre’s latest guidelines for visitors (Visitor Regulation), besides the Covid prevention practices of wearing masks and washing hands while visiting the bears. 

Please arrive at the Pan Pacific by 7.30am ready for us to depart at 7.45am from Hanoi. (it is important we leave on time as we need to get the bear sanctuary for the morning while the bears are visible and Cuc Phuong is further away than some of our other excursions)

The registration form is more detailed as we need to collect specific information required by the Four Paws Ninh Binh for their visitors.  Please complete 1 separate forn for 1 person so eg. if a group or family of 4 then we need 4 separate forms.

NB – This event is not suitable for children under 5 yrs old. Must childen must be over 5 yrs old

We have aimed to keep this excursion as cost effetive as possible within FVH’s maximum 1 day excrsion price.

450,000 VND/person this includes payment for transport, tour with guide and 2 workshops (excludes lunch, refreshments). Our transport costs are hgher as we have further to go.  Same price for everyone as we need to ensure we cover all expenses. Thank you for your understanding.
