We are honoured that is grandson, Trần Việt Anh, who is carrying out lots of research into his grandfather’s life will share some stories with us in the form of a small round table discussion. And we hope this will be the first of a number of talks focused on his grandfather. There are many facets to the life of Trần Kinh Chi – from when he was young, when he joined the army, the role he played in the revolutionary struggle during the 1st Indochina war, post- American War, the instrumental role he played in and his responsiblity for the Hồ Chí Minh Mausoleum, his work with Agent Orange and the war crimes museum in HCMC…. Too much info. for one afternoon, so Việt Anh will probably focus more on a few areas mainly the Mausoleum and the war crimes museum while giving a general overview of his grandfather’s life and work in general. There is plenty of content her for a several meetings.
