Hanoi: “Culture and Creativity”
Activity: cultural talk
Nguyễn Hữu Khôi from VICAS (Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Art studies), who is also founder of @Hanoicapital, an editorial platform to promote Hanoi tourism on social media will deliver a talk exploring Hanoi’s creativity in relation to the coffee culture and how creative coffee shops are developing a new concept within Hanoi society.
Join us for this talk in the cosy setting of one of Hanoi’s iconic cafes as Khôi tells the story of how coffee and culture are linked in our lovely city, the history of coffee in Vietnam from the French era to now, the importance of coffee in modern day life and how this beverage has given Hanoi a new and creative identity through a world of creative coffee shops. The talk is supported by visuals, as well as a fun interactive quiz with a prize for the winning team.
Learn something new about the history of coffee here and why Vietnam is not Vietnam without this beverage.
FVH is delighted to be partnering with a support role on this talk.
Khôi will talk in English, supported with visuals
Entry is free, drinks and food bought at the cafe are a personal cost
The venue is a coffee shop set in a renovated traditional villa built during the French era, 4th floor, Bancông, 2 Đinh Liệt
