The amazing Dr Trần Đoàn Lâm is back for another of his inspiring talks. This time its on Feng Shui or ‘phong thuỷ’ in Vietnamese. It literally means wind and water.
With his great presentation style and trusted blackboard, Lâm will explain the concept of Feng Shui (for a few hours including Q&A) – always able to make a complicated subject easy to understand.
- The concept and origins of feng shui
- How it is applied to one’s life: eg age, fate, destiny…
- How it is applied in death eg. finding the right burial place
- Modern world and feng shui – how elements of feng shui are incorporated into every day life eg. gem stone bracelets, certain decorative items etc.
- How elements in one’s home can be arranged or enhanced to bring balance
- Examples of feng shui in Vietnamese folk culture and how this differentiates it from Chinese feng shui
- And of course where does feng shui fit in to today’s constant world of building and urban expansion?
