Craft workshop: making Dó paper bracelets – half full

Hong Ky runs Chạm Dó, her social enterprise business which preserves, supports and promotes Vietnam’s traditional dó paper in a sustainable and creative way. She helps the community of paper makers in Hoa Binh Province to create more job opportunities and stable incomes.
For many many years FVH has teamed up with Hong Ky to run small group dedicated FVH workshops.
This month we will make bracelets from dó paper and additional decorative items.
The list of activities we currently collaborate on using dó paper include:
- Calligraphy on dó paper
- Book binding
- Fan making
- Lantern making
- Making bracelets
- Earring making
- Greetings cards
- Christmas decorations
- Pictures
- Bookmarks
Guidance and instruction as we make our own bracelets (usually we can make 2 bracelets)
Duration: appx 2 hours
Venue: 34 Châu Long street, Truc Bach – welcome note will be sent to those confirmed on the workshop
Max no of participants: min 5 max 10 people
Discounted for FVH members 350,000 vnd pp (prices the same for adults, students and children as this is a direct cost to Chạm Dó)
