In 2023 we started running some workshops with Huyen of Textile Linker fame who teamed up with Thuy who founded Chie Dù Pù Dù Pà in Hang Trong street to run craft workshops.
Always looking for a new item for a workshop, this month we will make 2 hanging decorations. A total of 6 small squares ‘shells’ – are pre-sewn, we fill them with cotton wool stuffing and hand sew to secure. We thread the beads and make the mini pompons and attach as per the photo below. This is probably one of the more simple workshops we do at Chie so for those who are more advanced in sewing you are welcome to emboider additional patterns on the backs of the ‘cubes’
Numbers – Min 5, very max 10 people for this workshop to run.
Amount – VND 390,000 pp, includes instruction, all materials, herbal tea, and green bean cake, and we make 3 keyrings each.
Venue – Chie Dù Pù Dù Pà, in Hang Trong street
