Film night – 1735 km movie
November 14 @ 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM150,000VND
FVH is taking part in the Vietnam Festival of Creativity & Design (VFCD): Hanoi 2021
Hanoi: “Culture and Creativity”
Activity: Film Night
We have chosen the film “1735 Km” as it’s a pleasant road trip movie of a young couple travelling from Hanoi to Saigon. They pass through some of Vietnam’s beautiful big cities like Hue, Hoi An, Da Nang. A light-hearted story about young people with city backgrounds which we feel links to this year’s VFCD city theme.
‘Fate’ introduces two young people on a train from Hanoi to Saigon and along the way they learn about life and love. Passing through charming major cities in Vietnam like Hoi An, Hue, Nha Trang, the film takes us on a memorable journey with Tram Anh and Kien who are believed to have opposite personalities and lifestyles. The unexpected journey gives them an opportunity to look deeper inside through different adventure experiences.
This 2005 film made by young director Tuan Nguyen when he was 29, takes us along 1,735 km of Vietnam through the eyes of young people.
Length: 1h 47 min.
Film night event starts 7pm, ends about 9.15pm – in addition to the film we will end the evening with a fun film quiz the winner(s) receive a fun gift after screening
