2 day excursion: Phú Thọ Province – hot spring baths resort

Join us on a fun, and at times quirky, 2-day trip to Thanh Thủy District in Phú Thọ Province located 74 km, east of Hanoi where we spend time at a hot springs resort which opened a few years ago. It is set on Blue Pearl Island located along the Đà River which has a hot spring stream flowing underground. The resort has 5 different (+40C) mineral baths to choose from under one roof: very hot, lemon, tea, herbs and 1 normal small swimming pool.
This is definitely a local non-tourist experience.
We include a Friday in this trip as its very quiet on this day, usually we have the whole resort to ourselves so it is very peaceful , before the local Hanoians arrive on Saturday – which is also a very interesting experience.
The resort is set in landscaped grounds complete with its own quirky statues.
On the Friday we stop off for lunch on the way to the resort.
Dinner in the local village and Saturday lunch in a local restaurant on the way back to Hanoi.

- Lunch on day 1 – bring own picnic lunch or eat in a local restaurant

Final cost TBC on how many people come as this will dictate which vehicle we use. Estimated based on previous years’ in the region of 1,250,000 vnd pp

The trip starts from the Pan Pacific Hotel on Yen Phu around 9am on Friday 22 Feb and returns here (on the way back we can drop people en route depending on location) Sat 23 Feb during the afternoon
