POSTPONED DUE TO ROAD CLOSURES FOR NATIONAL DAY PARADE.
This morning’s walk explores the area around Hàng Da market. We learn about the original trade of the surrounding streets, what the concept of Tuong Theatre is, who was the master embroiderer, why was Princess Y Lan given this name, find out where a former FVH friend lived – Nguyen Van Quy who composed 9 sonatas for the violin and piano (Beethoven of Vietnam), discover a hidden old villa and explore alleyways you may not have wandered down before.
