A talk and presentation with a focus on the development of acupuncture in Vietnam and touching on the the origins of traditional Vietnamese Medicine (TVM). With Dung and his mother PGS.TS.BS. Trần Thị Thanh Hương (practitioner of traditional medicine and acupuncture) at their clinic on Nui Truc.
This fascinating presentation will focus on many areas including concepts such as
- “toxic wind” (Gió Độc), Dật Gió (“wind snatching”), Cạo Gió (“wind scraping), Bấm Huyệt (finger pressure), and Cắt Lể (bloodletting) to expunge the “toxic wind.”
