We start our stroll outside the Friendship culture palace on Trần Hưng Đạo, up to Thiền Quang Lake and back up via Yết Kiêu Street. We look at the previous lives of buildings, we visit some pagodas you may not have seen before, we attempt to engender some ‘spookiness’ surrounding Thiền Quang Lake, what Thống Nhất Park was created from, what statues ‘guard’ the circus and their original home, through to influential Vietnamese iconic music composers of the 20th century ending with the founding of the Vietnam University of Fine Arts and the artists who made this happen.
Starting at the Friendship cultural palace and ending at a location in Le Duan street after the Fine Arts University.
