Welcome to our stroll around some of Hanoi’s Old Quarter and the ’36 Streets’.
This is the Bạch Mã temple walk where we discover why a white horse was instrumental in the building of the Thang Long citadel over 1,000 yrs ago, how today’s trade of Hàng Buồm street with its alcohol shops and bars is a far cry from its original activity, we visit a number of lesser known places of worship and a few ‘hidden’ alleys, ending at one of Hanoi’s newest and most beautiful of art spaces.
We have a short break at a cafe in Hang Chieu street.
We start and end in Hàng Buồm.
Please RSVP to Stella – stella@fvheritage.org
Max 8 people. Appx 2hrs 30 mins duration.
If the walk is full please still RSVP for the waiting list.
