OUR ANNUAL TET EVENT – THE LEGEND OF THE KITCHEN GOD Held on Kitchen God day (22 January 2025, 23 December lunar calendar) Governed by tradition, taboos and legends, Tết Nguyên Đán welcomes the Lunar New Year and spring’s arrival. It is Vietnam’s most important festival and public holiday. The lunar and solar calendars are linked in Vietnam. Our walk starts outside number 5D Hàm Long street, where the first Communist Party Cell of Hanoi was established. Then along Lò Đúc Street to the Pasteur gardens, and outside the National Institute of Hygiene & Epidemiology (originally the Pasteur Institute). Back up Lò Đúc and to Nguyễn Công Trứ Street.
