DESCRIPTION:This walk is now full. Please RSVP for the waiting list and prirority for a repeat walk \nWelcome to a stroll around some of Hanoi’s Old Quarter and the ’36 Streets’. \nThis is the Bạch Mã temple walk where we discover why a white horse was instrumental in the building of the Thang Long citadel over 1\,000 yrs ago\, how today’s trade of Hàng Buồm street with alcohol shops and bars is a far cry from its original activity\, we visit a number of lesser known and hidden places of worship and a few ‘hidden’ alleys\, ending at one of Hanoi’s newest and most beautiful of art spaces. \nWe have a short break at a cafe in Hang Chieu. \nWe start and end in Hàng Buồm. Starting at bit earlier at 9am to try to avoid some of the city heat later on in the morning. \nAllow 2hrs 45 mins for the walk\, feel free to leave at any time if we over run. \nPlease RSVP to  Stella – stella@fvheritage.org \nNB: with all our outdoor events at this time of year we are at the mercy of the weather and we know there can be sudden torrential rain and intense humidity.  So our walks for this month are subject to the rain. This walk will take place in heat\, sun and drizzle but not of course if its a torrential downpour.
