DESCRIPTION:THIS WALK IS FULL – PLEASE RSVP FOR THE WAITING LIST \nWe start our stroll outside the Friendship culture palace on Trần Hưng Đạo\, up to Thiền Quang Lake and back up via Yết Kiêu Street. We look at the previous lives of some buildings\, we visit some pagodas you may not have been to before\, we talk about how Thống Nhất Park was created and what was there before\, what statues ‘guard’ the circus and where they originally came from\, ending with history/foundation of the Vietnam University of Fine Arts and the artists who made this happen ……. \nStarting at the Friendship cultural palace and ending at a location in Le Duan street after the Fine Arts University. \nits been a few years since we led this walk\, mainly because the metro construction was blocking the start of the walk.  Although the work is ongoing the route is accessible.
