SUMMARY:2 day excursion: Phú Thọ Province - hot spring baths resort
DESCRIPTION:This trip was moved from last December \nJoin us on a fun\, and at times quirky\, 2-day trip to Thanh Thủy District in Phú Thọ Province located 74 km\, east of Hanoi where we spend time at a hot springs resort which opened a few years ago. It is set on Blue Pearl Island located along the Đà River which has a hot spring stream flowing underground. The resort has 5 different (+40C) mineral baths to choose from under one roof: very hot\, lemon\, tea\, herbs and 1 normal small swimming pool. \nThis is definitely a local non-tourist experience. \nWe include a Friday in this trip as its very quiet on this day\, usually we have the whole resort to ourselves so it is very peaceful \, before the local Hanoians arrive on Saturday – which is also a very interesting experience. \nThe resort is set in landscaped grounds complete with its own quirky statues. \nOn the Friday we stop off for lunch on the way to the resort. \nDinner in the local village and Saturday lunch in a local restaurant on the way back to Hanoi. \nIncluded in the trip: \n\nReturn mini bus\nWater on the mini bus\nTwin share basis accommodation (please advise if you want a single occupancy room)\nOne dinner day 1\nOne lunch day 2\nOne breakfast day 2 included in room rate\n\nExcluded \n\nLunch on day 1 – bring own picnic lunch or eat in a local restaurant\nEntry to the actual hot spring baths\nMassage/spa\nPersonal expenses\n\nFinal cost TBC on how many people come as this will dictate which vehicle we use.
