SUMMARY:Through the eyes of the blind community: RB Centre ENG conversation volunteer group
DESCRIPTION:A BRAND NEW FVH SECTION ALONG WITH LANGUAGE CLUB \nTHIS ACTIVITY IS FOR EVERYONE WHO LOVES ENGLISH\, CHILDREN AND WANT TO SHARE YOUR LANGUAGE. \nFVH is one very big community of like-minded people who adore Vietnamese culture\, history and heritage. And we include a huge number of nationalities from every continent. Besides culture and heritage activities\, we really appreciate community service and want to contribute our real action to developing our world. \nThen\, we met RB  centre while we accompanied the surgery program for disabled children 2023-2024 with Center 2.  RB is a unique non-profit organization in Hanoi\, set up to help blind children with academic and life skills\, providing confidence\, and early intervention of medical issues. It is run by a small group of staff and volunteers. FVH is delighted to partner with RB to help run a new initiative of activities based around the English language. This is not English teaching but a chance to interact with aninspiring group of young Vietnamese by conversing in English. \nWe wanted to run this activity on a Saturday\, which is probably a more suitable day. but the children and volunteers spend the weekend with their families\, so we need to fit in with the centre’s current schedule. But we hope to expand the volunteering opportunities in the future to include more of us. \nIn the meantime we meet end of the day on Wednesdays.  Please ocme along if you have a few hours to spare and help us build this very rewarding and inspiring project.  It is not just of benefit to the blind children but its also a chance for us to experience their world through their eyes. \nHOW TO TAKE PART \nPlease email Ly at  the FVH Language Exchange Club email <fvh.langclub@gmail.com> to register your interest in taking part \nEach week there is a chosen topic and you don’t need to prepare anything\, just bring yourself. \nWhen? Every Wednesday\, from 30 October  2024 \nTime?  5:30 PM – 6:15 PM \nWhere? RB Club\, No. 7 Lạc Trung\, Hai Bà Trưng district \nGoole map link – https://maps.app.goo.gl/FmHpt1CA4L4ZLXrq6?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy \n  \nPlease follow and like us:Share this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on Google+ (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Like this:Like Loading...\n\n	Related\n
