Music event: Christmas music/carols – The Hope Choir

(donation)The Hope Choir have a Christmas performance at their blind centre in Lac Trung – Saturday 22 December @ 3pm.
We hope as many people can attend as possible to support them. Apart from being blind they are amazing singers and musicians in their own right What Triem and his wife Thanh have achieved is amazing

The performance ends with a selection of popular Christmas carols (including from Venezuela, France, Ukraine. Spain)
About “HOPE”: “HOPE” is formed by 16 remarkable visually – impaired singers and folk instrument musicians. They practice under the guidance of pianist Ton That Triem – recipient of an Honorary Diploma of the International Tchaikovski Competition – and opera singer Nguyen Xuan Thanh – Special Prize Winner of the International Singing Tchaikovski and Glinka Competitions- Russia
“HOPE” have performed before special guests such as the former French Prime Minister Francois Fillon (2009), former Australian governor-general Mrs. Quentin Bryce, His Majesty the King of Malaysia, former US President Bill Clinton (2015), the President of Haiti Parliament (2017), etc to name a few.
Recently, “HOPE” had the honour to perform at the 70th Anniversary of Independence of Sri Lanka 9-3-2018, the National Day of South Africa 4-2018, the National Day of Switzerland 1-8-2018 and other friendship, benefit Concerts.
