SUMMARY:Inspiring stories - meet the blind community of the RB Club\, Hanoi
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an afternoon of inpsiration as we meet the RB Club – a wonderful organisation in Hanoi which supports blind children with after school activities. RB is a non-profit organization\, helping the children with academic and life skills\, providing confidence\, and early intervention of medical issues.   It is run by a small group of staff and volunteers and FVH is delighted to be partnering with the Centre to help run a new initiative of activities based around the English language. This is not English teaching but interacting with the children in English. \nRB stands for Retinoblastoma which is a type of eye cancer that starts in the retina. It is the most common childhood eye cancer. It can affect one or both eyes\, about 1 in 4 cases affect both eyes. \nTo kick start this iniatitve we are holding an event with the centre to introduce you to the world of the blind community and especially those affected by  Retinoblastoma.  Come and meet the team and some of the children\, enjoy inspiring musical and singing performances by the talented children; the RB team will explain about the history of the blind community in Hanoi/Vietnam\, ad give more detail about what Retinoblastoma is while sharing their experience of life changing operations carried out by a wonderful team of Hanoi eye surgeons. \nRSVP via this google form https://forms.gle/FSrFdv8Hyz6hX12H8 \nFor more info/questions please contact Ly at at email: fvh.langclub@gmail.com \nNumbers  20-25 people \nThere is no charge for coming to this event.
