DESCRIPTION:THIS WALK IS NOW FULL. PLEASE RSVP FOR THE WAITNG LIST AS IF ANY SPACES BECOME AVAILABLE THEY WILL BE FILLED FROM THE WAITING LIST.   AND THIS WALK IS REPEATED TOMORROW MORNING 24 JULY \nA short distance as the crow flies. But we take the long way round zig zagging up and down the streets in this  familiar area of the Old Quarter to discover the unfamilar – from Đinh Liệt  and Hang Bac to Cầu Gỗ and Nguyễn Hữu Huân streets.  We touch on many subjects from the birth of silver making in Hanoi and how Hong Kong cinema came to share space with Cải Lương folk opera\,  to the combination of  ice cream and revolution\, and the endless fascination with cafes. \nPlease RSVP by email to stella@fvheritage.org \ngroup size max 8 \nwe meet at 9am  in Bancong cafe for introductions over a coffee and end outside Cafe Giang \n  \nPLEASE NOTE this walk is subject to the weather.   At this time of year we know there can be terrible humidity and sudden torrential rain.
