SUMMARY:Hanoi City Walk (English) – French concession to Thiền Quang Lake
DESCRIPTION:Our morning walk starts in front of the Opera House.  From here\, we walk to the School of Pharmacy just up the road\, designed by Ernest Hebrard – we learn about what makes his style of architecture so iconic. Then\, we make our way along Lý Thường Kiệt Street touching on the history of some key buildings in the area and some of the characters who occupied them\, thorugh the picturesque winding alleys around Ha Hoi ending at Thiền Quang Lake. \nLearn about the height of French presence  within Hà Nội and its influence on architecture and urban design. \nThe walk is led by Alvaro \n9am-11.30am \nRoute Opera House to Tien Quang Lake \nNumbers max 10 pax \nPlease RSVP via this registration form \nmax 9 people  \nWecome email will be sent by Alvaro 1 to 2 days before the walk to those confirmed on the walk \nPlease email if any problems RSVPing or questions – hello@fvheritage.org \n©1999 Friends of Vietnam Heritage.
