DESCRIPTION:THIS WALK IS NOW FULL. PLEASE RSVP FOR THE WAITING LIST THANKS \nWe start our stroll outside the Friendship culture palace on Trần Hưng Đạo\, up to Thiền Quang Lake and back up via Yết Kiêu Street. We look at the previous lives of some buildings\, we visit some pagodas you may not have been to before\, we talk about how Thống Nhất Park was created and what was there before\, what statues ‘guard’ the circus and where they originally came from\, ending with history/foundation of the Vietnam University of Fine Arts and the artists who made this happen ……. \nStarting at the Friendship cultural palace and ending at a location in Le Duan street after the Fine Arts University. \n(When we started this route it was lovely and quiet around Tran Hung Dao and our starting point but now its the metro construction is ongoing so please note the starting point is a bit of a building site… but we get a good view of some of the construction process). \nNumbers: Very max 8 people \nRSVP to stella@fvheritage.org \n  \n©1999 Friends of Vietnam Heritage.
