FVH – 36 Streets treasure hunt 2024

Our treasure hunt is back (and in honour of the 25th anniversary of the founding of FVH)
A walking tour and exploration of Hanoi’s Old Quarter with a difference. Take part in our 4th treasure hunt. For people new to FVH 2019 we launched our 1st ‘amazing race’ treasure hunt in 2019 round the old quarter which was a stunning success. Our 2nd one was around Bat Trang, our 3rd one back in the old quarter (March 2022).
Compete in teams of max 4 to complete tasks around the Old Quarter. The aim is to complete as many challenges as possible within 2.5 hours. The winning team is the one with the most points = the most challenges. In the event of a tie the winner will be the team who arrives back first.
This year there be one main FVH prize for the members of the winning team (rather than many prizes for lots of teams. This year we are retaining as much of the funds from the entry fee for the organisation we are supporting).
The purpose = is to have fun, learn more about the Old Quarter, to be as competitive as you like and for us to donate as much as we can to charity.
Compete as a family or group of friends, work teams, individuals will be allocated to teams. Children are very welcome (same entry fee for everyone) – but recommend not under 5s.
NOTE
A full morning event 8.30am to about 1pm
300,000 VND per adult/ 200,000 VND 10years to 15 years. After deducting event expenses all proceeds will go to charity. This year our chosen organisation is Centre II project. The inspirational work done by this Hanoi based NGO and Vietnamese doctors from leading Hanoi hospitals includes life changing surgery for ethnic minority children in remote areas of northern Vietnam.

NB – this is a revamp of the March 2022 treasure hunt. The concept, routes and majority of challenges are the same. We made some amendments and added some new challenges (important info for those who joined the 2022 treasure hunt; however, it was a long time ago as not possible to complete all the challenges this it will probably still seem like a new treasure hunt).
