DESCRIPTION:THIS WORKSHOP IS NOW FULL.  PLEASE RSVP FOR THE WAITING LIST THANKS \nFollowing from our mini tour of the Tuồng theatre near Hang Da market at the end of August\, this morning is split into 2 parts \nLinh\, one of the young artists we partner with (who graduated from the Fine Arts University) recently devised a new art workshop based on the face painting tradition of Tuồng theatre. \nTuồng is often referred to as classical Vietnamese opera\, its different to other genre of Vietnamese theatre such as Chèo.  It uses a series of characters  recognizable by their elaborate face make up and costumes.
