SUMMARY:Craft workshop (a.m): all about the Nghê (on clay)
DESCRIPTION:At the time of the mailing the final plan and craft agenda are being finalised but registration is open if you wish to sign up in advance \nINTRODUCTION\nWe run a number of art workshops with 2 young artists Linh and Nhung\, who graduated from the Fine Arts University 2-3 years ago. They often create new workshops that we love to try out. The formats are  2 part – we start with a presentation on the craft workshop topic re the origins and significance in Vietnamese culture and heritage\, followed by the workshop. The topics feature tradtional Vietnamese craft materials and/or images that are important in Vietnam. \nThe Nghê workhop\nWe also featured this topic in 2025 when we painted this little creature with glass paint on perspex. This time it will be a clay nghê \nWe start off with a powerpoint presentation about the Nghe (an imaginary Vietnamese spiritual/sacred animal). Linh and Nhung explain first about cultural and artistic significance so you that you understand more about what you will be painting. \nMORE INFO TO COME ON THE FORMAT\, TECHNIQUE AND MATERIAL FOR THIS WORKSHOP \nThe Nghe comes in different guises here is one of them \n \nNumbers: min 5 and very max 8 people \nAmount pp: VND  about 390k-420k  – same price for everyone (as we need to over material costs and donation to the artists and includes refreshments.  Final cost to come \nVenue: 53/409 Kim Mã Street\,  (venue location/how to find the studio will be sent in the welcome email for those confirmed on the workshop) \nRSVP: to stella@fvheritage.org \nSuitable for all levels. \nPlease follow and like us:Share this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on Google+ (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)Like this:Like Loading...\n\n	Related\n
