DESCRIPTION:Welcome to our stroll around some of Hanoi’s Old Quarter and the ’36 Streets’. \nThis is one version of our Bạch Mã temple walk (we have 2 slightly different versions of this walk – one route one turns right out of Bach Ma Temple while this walk today – the original one – turns left). \nWe discover why a white horse was instrumental in the building of the Thang Long citadel over 1\,000 yrs ago\, how today’s trade of Hàng Buồm street with its alcohol shops and bars is a far cry from its original activity\, we visit a number of lesser known places of worship and a few ‘hidden’ alleys and one of Hanoi’s newest and most beautiful of art spaces. \nPlease RSVP via this form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdsCT2_aW8rBYbDwU_1mtSni8ockCuIqJAZv4hyfMQWNkYtEg/viewform \nMax 8 people.   Appx 2hrs 30 mins \nIf the walk is full please still RSVP for the waiting list. \n\n©1999 Friends of Vietnam Heritage.
